From an approved design to finished goods ready to ship, a custom plush run at our factory takes roughly 5 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity. Sampling runs 7–15 days; mass production runs 25–50 days, split into three complexity tiers. Minimum order is 500 pieces.

Two things to state plainly, because they are where most timeline surprises come from:
- Sampling is the same 7–15 days for every tier. Complexity does not change how long a first sample takes; it changes how many details there are to get right and how long bulk production takes.
- The “total” row is arithmetic, not a promise. It is sampling plus production only. Revisions, testing, and transit sit on top of it, and those three are the variables we cannot pin down until we see your design and destination.
Sampling is not free, and the fee scales with design complexity: simple ¥500–1,000, medium ¥800–1,500, complex ¥1,000–2,000. Unit price scales with order quantity: $7.9–10.5/pc at 500 pcs, $5.5–7.8/pc at 1,000 pcs, $4.0–5.9/pc at 5,000+ pcs.
What actually moves the timeline
- Design complexity. A single-color, two-piece bear is a different job than a character with embroidery, multiple fabric textures, and attached accessories. This is the difference between our 25-day and 50-day production tiers.
- Revision rounds. Every round of sample changes restarts part of the cycle. One approval round is standard; three is where timelines quietly double.
- Safety testing. Toys for the EU, US, and EAC markets carry different requirements. We hold EN71, CE, ASTM F963, EAC, ISO 9001, and BSCI, but the specific tests your market demands set the inspection window.
- Peak season. Factory capacity is not a constant. Orders placed ahead of major retail seasons queue behind everyone else.
- Customs clearance. Clearance at both ends of the route adds days no factory controls. We prepare the paperwork that keeps it moving.
How to go faster — and what it costs
- Ship the tech pack complete the first time. A clear spec means one sampling round instead of three, and cuts more time than any fee you could pay us.
- Expedited sampling. We can move your sample to the front of the schedule for a rush fee, confirmed at quote.
- Reserve the production slot early. Holding a slot ahead of peak season keeps your 25–50 day window from stretching.
- Keep the design in one tier. A “small tweak” that pushes a mid-tier product into the complex tier costs days, not just money.
Shipping to Kazakhstan and Central Asia: the Khorgos leg
We ship from Khorgos (霍尔果斯), a land port on the China–Kazakhstan border. That is the single biggest reason our transit works for Central Asia and CIS buyers: your freight starts at the border, not at a seaport in Shanghai or Shenzhen. Delivery time to your door depends on destination city and mode (truck or rail), so we confirm exact transit at quotation rather than print a number that does not exist.
