Step 1. The brief: sewing from a sketch, a photo or a 3D model
Everything starts with a brief. The factory accepts any of the following:
- a photo of an existing toy or a reference image;
- a hand-drawn sketch — even a rough one;
- a 3D model or vector artwork;
- a physical sample — sewing by sample: we reproduce or improve an existing toy.
A designer converts your picture into a production artwork: body proportions, seam lines, number of panels, materials, and the positions of embroidery or printing. Together with the artwork you confirm:
- the finished size in centimetres;
- the fabric — soft pile materials such as velboa, velsoft or faux fur;
- the filling — hypoallergenic polyester fibre (PP cotton);
- the face — embroidered eyes or safety eyes with locking washers;
- optional extras: custom embroidery of your logo and custom packaging.
The more precisely the artwork is agreed at this stage, the fewer corrections the sample will need.
Step 2. The sample: cost, approval, revisions
Before mass production the factory always sews a sample. The sample is where you verify proportions, seams, stuffing density, attachments and overall likeness to the artwork. Sample terms:

- with an order of 500 pieces or more, the sample fee is fully deducted from the order amount;

Step 3. Mass production: cutting, sewing, stuffing, QC
With the sample approved, the order goes to the workshop floor. The sequence of operations:
- Fabric, trims and packaging are purchased and inspected on arrival.
- Pile fabric is cut following the patterns.
- Embroidery or printing, if included in the artwork.
- Panels are sewn and turned.
- The toy is stuffed with polyester fibre and weighed.
- Assembly: eyes, nose, accessories, sew-on elements.
- Quality control: seams, symmetry, attachment strength — plus a mandatory pass through a metal detector to rule out broken needles.
- Packing: hang tags, bags or boxes customised for your brand.

- EN 71 and CE marking — for the European Union;
- ASTM F963 — the US toy safety standard;

Shipments leave from China. For Russia and Central Asia the base route runs through the Khorgos border crossing, by rail or by truck.
